The low dropout linear regulator is a new generation of integrated circuit regulators. The biggest difference between it and the three terminal regulator is that the low dropout linear regulator (LDO) is a micro system on chip (SOC) with low self consumption. It can be used for current main channel control. The chip integrates hardware circuits such as mosfets with extremely low line conduction resistors, Schottky diodes, sampling resistors, and voltage divider resistors.
